The owlbear is from classic fantasy gaming - Dungeons & Dragons or World of Warcraft in my world - this one specifically was stitched for Camp Nerdly - a yearly tabletop games con held at a Virginia campground - where I taught people to do counted cross stitch using this pattern
The catthulhu was stitched on the cover of my gaming notebook for a game of Brindlewood Bay - an eldritch-touched cozy mystery tabletop role-playing game
