Every year, Scares That Care gives a gift of $10,000 to three individuals: a breast cancer patient, a burn victim, and a sick child.

Scares That Care relies on the generosity of our supporters to help our three recipients every year. We host charity events annually that raise money for those we help. The charity also hosts online auctions, raffles, and giveaways.

Killer Pride is a three day event for the LGBTQ+ community, their families and allies taking place September 26-28, 2025

I went to their AuthorCon event last year, and it was a ton of fun, all the hosts and participants were so warm and welcoming. The horror community is the most giving, kindest community I’ve ever been part of, and Joe, Brian, and all the Scares that Care folks embody that. If you can go - go!
