Cross Stitch Cabinet of Curiosities

Cross Stitch Cabinet Of Curiosities by Grace Isobel is full of patterns inspired by items that may make up a cabinet of curiosities.

She lists everything you need and even starts the book with an explanation of the different fabric types and shares her favorite fabric, needles, and other tools plus suggestions for unique ways to use and display finished pieces.

The patterns were perfectly gothic, the charts easy to read, and the photos showing finished works were beautiful.

Patterns range from anatomy, animals and insects to witchy and celestial and even some alphabets - everything a stitcher needs to complete their own cabinet of curiosities.

The last several pages are devoted to some basic cross stitching and finishing instructions, so even beginners can get started quickly.

This is definitely one I’ll be adding to my creepy craft corner.
