This film’s description makes it sound like it is solidly in the “rape revenge” subgenre, which, although I definitely appreciate the idea of a woman taking her own power, is not something that’s usually for me. That being said, this film subverts that genre, and, if you can stomach the violence, has some interesting things to say about PTSD and mental health.
